What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Specialist position at Soni?
Soni is partnering with a Monmouth County based comer real estate agency that is looking to add an Accounting Specialist to their team. This candidate will have a strong knowledge of accounts payable and also be able to help out with reconciliations and other general accounting/bookkeeping duties as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Handle accounts payable, credit card reconciliations, assist with journal entries, payroll, and other accounting related tasks.
- Reconcile discrepancies on credit card transactions
- Follow up on outstanding payments
- Resolve billing discrepancies in a timely fashion
- Generate and review monthly reports.
- Prepare and make bank deposits.
Requirements:
- Previous AP/bookkeeping experience ina corporate environment
- Understanding of AP, AR, general accounting/bookkeeping
- Proficient with Yardi
- Effective communication and relationship management abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Real estate or construction industry experience
Compensation: $30-36/ Hr
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
