Soni's client is seeking a Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and oversight of enterprise cybersecurity architecture and security operations across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments. This role focuses on strengthening organizational security posture through modern security frameworks, threat prevention, identity and access management, incident response, and security automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement enterprise security architecture and Zero Trust strategies
- Manage cloud security controls across Azure and GCP
- Support IAM, MFA, PAM, and Active Directory security best practices
- Lead incident response, threat analysis, vulnerability management, and security investigations
- Implement and optimize security technologies including EDR, ITDR, firewalls, email security gateways, and data protection controls
- Partner with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security automation and DevSecOps practices
- Develop security policies, standards, and operational playbooks
- Ensure compliance with frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and SOC 2
Required Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, cloud security, and security operations.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Zscaler, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, Proofpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, Okta, and Azure/GCP security solutions
- Strong knowledge of SIEM, threat intelligence, scripting (Python/PowerShell/Terraform), and cloud/network security
- Experience with penetration testing, risk assessments, and security governance
- CISSP required; CISM or CCSP preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
Compensation: $160,000 to $170,000 annually
Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
