Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for business development in Anne Arundel County, MD, by identifying and pursuing opportunities in the market area.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality consulting services to clients in the site civil/land development sector.
- Develop and execute growth strategies to establish a dominant position in niche areas of the land development market.
- Set up and manage a new office, overseeing daily operations, staff supervision, and skill development.
- Present a clear vision for the practice and work collaboratively with a large engineering firm for support in staffing, financial expansion, and market presence.
- Drive the implementation of growth strategies with a focus on profitability and market leadership.
- Collaborate with the larger engineering firm to leverage resources for the success of the office.
Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer with a strong and demonstrated track record of success in the field of land development.
- Proven experience in business development, client relations, and consulting within the civil engineering industry.
