The annual base salary range for this position is $170,000-210,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Key Responsibilities
Business Problem Translation and Use Case Development
- Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and the analytics team to solve impactful problems.
- Guide use cases development from ideation, inspiration, identification, prioritization and through prototyping, pilot, production to adoption.
- Partner with senior leaders on data-informed strategy and operating models.
- Shape the BI roadmap, data & semantic models, and metrics layer – as a governed source of truth for KPIs and business metrics, which are embedded in workflows, gets measured for impact and shared across the org.
- Design and Oversee enterprise analytics initiatives.
- Map enterprise decision making workflows. Understand the decision-making process, workflows and business & information needs of business executives
- Translate information needs into actionable requirements and identify ways to visualize and present information in a user-friendly manner. Turn business problems into analytics solutions with clear charts, dashboards, and narratives tied to measurable outcomes.
- Proactively mine data to identify trends and generate insights for business units and senior leadership.
- Create outcome-driven metrics that tie analytics to business goals and build value stories that articulate value capture.
- Build data literacy organization-wide and business literacy within the analytics team.
- Coach business users toward self-service analytics. Partner with D&A communities of practice.
- Own the analytics governance framework: data quality, metadata, definitions, and compliance controls.
- Proactively fix trust gaps before building new products to foster adoption.
- Mentor a team that combines technical depth, business acumen, and communication skill.
- Set standards for development, documentation, and knowledge sharing. Prize business impact over technical complexity.
- Develops analytical strategies to solve business problems by understanding the business problem, identifying relevant data, gathering and summarizing data meaningfully, and applying appropriate statistical analysis.
- Manage vendor relationships, platform service agreements, and the operational budget for analytics teams and tools.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree (or above) in Business Analytics, MIS, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
- 10 years in BI, analytics, or data management, with demonstrated business impact across multiple domains (finance, supply chain, commercial and similar domains).
- Business acumen: skilled at discussing business topics in stakeholder terms, analyzing needs, understanding the domain, and forming clear analytical questions.
- Skilled at translating business needs into analytics solutions and conveying insights to executives with visualizations and narrative. Experienced in developing reports, dashboards, and data visuals for leadership and stakeholders.
- Experienced in pipeline design, data ingestion and transformation, semantic modeling, and deploying at scale. Skilled with enterprise platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Power BI.
- Experience leading data science projects and/or teams; strong collaboration skills across interdisciplinary stakeholders; comfort presenting to executive audiences.
- Familiarity with enterprise data environments and tools (e.g., SAP/ERP, supply chain management systems, financial databases) and integrating solutions into production workflows (APIs, dashboards, business applications).
- Experience building business cases for analytics initiatives and tracking value realization post-deployment. Understanding of diagnostic, descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics methods, including statistical fundamentals (e.g., correlation vs. causation).
- Strong communicator experienced in leading workshops, presenting data to boards and informing organizational decisions. Skilled at solving complex problems and turning ambiguity into actionable insights for business leaders.
- UX sensibility for analytics products. Demonstrated adoption results, measured through business outcomes, user satisfaction, or consumption metrics (volume, frequency, recency).
- Results-driven mindset with clear objectives (e.g., reducing forecast error by X% or accelerating financial close by Y days) and tracking against outcomes.
- Ongoing learning in BI trends and their responsible use in business. Experience launching self-service analytics, data literacy efforts, or D&A communities that moved an organization from report requests to insight generation.
- Vendor evaluation, platform selection, and service transition experience.
