Principal Account Manager – Automotive Refrigerants, USA
Location: Remote (Preferred: Midwest, US)

An exceptional and exciting career opportunity is currently available for an Automotive Principal Account Manager; reporting to the Global Director of Sales, responsible for managing and growing sales of automotive refrigerant products at key automotive OEMs in USA.
The Automotive Principal Account Manager will be responsible for serving existing key OEM accounts and developing new accounts. The sales revenue in this territory is approximately $40M.

YOU MUST HAVE
The annual base salary range for this position is $137,000 - 190,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Responsibilities
- Act as global account lead for strategic automotive OEMs headquartered in the US.
- Owns all key relationships at automotive OEM accounts including procurement, engineering and operations.
- Partners with supply chain and customer service to ensure 100% on-time-in-full deliveries.
- Comfortable working with legal documents.
- Works closely with all functions (finance, legal, customer service, supply chain, logistics, engineering, technology, etc).
- Interacts with and coordinates activities with peer account managers who are calling on the same account in other regions.
- Builds a sales pipeline utilizing the Salesforce CRM tool; develops robust account plans, works on NPI (New Product Introduction) programs in the territory.
- Uses a 3-in-a-box approach at accounts utilizing technical and marketing teams
- Provides accurate annual (AOP) and monthly forecasts for the territory.
- Competent on IP and regulatory topics and can present these to customers.
- Assists in collection of invoices as needed.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 5 years of experience relevant in the automotive industry, selling to tier 1 or tier 2 OEMs
- Ability to link strategies to financial results.
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships
- Excellent business development skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Proven high level of professional integrity and honesty as well as personal credibility.
- Operates with a structured work process including key account planning, call reporting utilizing Salesforce CRM tool; and global coordination/communication across the internal teams.
- Ability to take actions to drive and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Creative yet pragmatic problem solver.
- Decisive and logical at thoroughly evaluating issues
