ABOUT THE COMPANY
A privately held global company (approximately 150 employees) that develops rugged, feature-rich tools for HVACR professionals, including meters, manifolds, leak detectors, pumps, and calibration tools. We have an established international footprint and develop products for a global market. Manufacturing is supported through ODM partnerships in China.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• 10 years of cross-functional R&D leadership developing complex products such as meters, manifolds, leak detectors, pumps, and calibration tools.
• Proven ability to scale and lead matrixed teams (Mechanical, Electrical, and Firmware).
• Experience leading new product development and managing supplier/ODM partnerships.
• Strong strategic planning, budgeting, and performance management skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead innovative product development, process optimization, and accountability.
• Define and execute long-term engineering and technical strategies.
• Build organizational capacity and technical depth to deliver a sustainable pipeline of products.
• Manage budgets, resources, processes, metrics, and strategic priorities across simultaneous programs.
• Strengthen relationships with ODMs and strategic suppliers to expand innovation capacity and accelerate time-to-market.
• Develop and oversee the R&D budget.
