Quality Inspector

Qualifications

• 2 years experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role in manufacturing or metal fabrication preferred.
• Strong understanding of measurement tools and dimensional inspection techniques: Calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and other inspection instruments.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to product accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Must be able to operate a forklift

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections of materials and manufactured parts.
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and other inspection instruments.
• Maintain accurate and complete quality records, reports, and documentation.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work orders.
• Identify and document non-conformances; communicate issues to supervisors and production staff.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and uphold all company quality and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with machine operators, welders, and supervisors to resolve quality issues.
