Position Summary:
We are seeking a Staff Accountant – Accounts Payable to join a leading global healthcare services organization with operations across North America. This five-month-plus consulting engagement offers an opportunity to support a dynamic finance team by managing accounts payable operations, assisting with month-end close activities, and contributing to process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced working in fast-paced environments.
This is a hybrid position working on-site one day per week in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
Essential Duties:
- Review and process vendor invoices for accuracy and approvals.
- Process weekly ACH, check, and wire payments.
- Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
- Prepare AP aging reports, accrued expense reconciliations, and annual 1099 reporting.
- Support sales and use tax filings, purchasing system administration, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience.
- Required experience using Workday.
- Experience supporting month-end close activities preferred.
Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:
- Experience with Workday is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Accounts Payable processes and general accounting principles.
- Experience preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
- Experience with sales and use tax reporting and 1099 preparation.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated sound judgment, professionalism, and a high level of integrity.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing as a collaborative team member.
Travel Requirements: No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly rate for this role is up to $45.
