What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Financial Analyst position at SolomonEdwards?
Multibillion dollar distribution company headquartered in Northeast Philadelphia is looking to hire an experienced financial analyst. This role will provide financial support to the organization, working cross-functionally with departments throughout the company to provide data, metrics, and analysis to help drive business decisions.
Duties will include:
- Create monthly reporting packages for senior management
- Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Develop and maintain financial models
- Prepare monthly analysis on financial results, including variance analysis and budget to actuals
- Develop and track KPIs
- Provide detailed analysis of profitability by location, customer, and product
- Develop and maintain company dashboards using PowerBI
- Perform business analysis and decision support and provide strategic insights to senior leadership
- Participate in special projects and automation initiatives
The Senior Financial Analyst should possess the following:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2-4 years of progressive financial analysis experience
- Good communication skills
- Prior experience in an inventory-based industry (manufacturing, distribution, retail)
- Excellent analytical abilities
- Strong system skills including proficiency with Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, sum/if, sum/product)
- Experience with OneStream and/or PowerBI desired
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
