X-Ray Technician - Elyria, Ohio

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years X-Ray experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic radiology department where your expertise in diagnostic imaging contributes directly to patient care. As an X-ray/Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic X-rays for outpatients, inpatients, and Emergency Department patients, including portable imaging. You may also participate in fluoroscopy and support surgical/OR procedures. This 13-week contract includes a comprehensive orientation and the chance to work a rotating shift schedule for a versatile and engaging experience.

Schedule/Hours

• Rotating shifts: 10:30am–7:00pm, 1:00pm–9:30pm, 2:00pm–10:30pm, 3:00pm–11:00pm, 5:30pm–1:00am, 11:00pm–7:00am
• Every other weekend: 8:30am–5:00pm
• Potential to work holidays
  
  

Qualifications

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Active Ohio Radiologic Technologist license
• BLS certification
• Proficient in all standard X-ray imaging procedures, including portable equipment
• Experience working in a hospital environment preferred
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire diagnostic images for various patient types, adhering to safety and quality standards
• Support medical care teams by delivering timely imaging for outpatients, inpatients, and emergency cases
• Operate imaging equipment, ensuring proper positioning and patient safety
• Assist with fluoroscopy procedures and provide imaging support during surgeries as needed
• Maintain accurate records and assist with documentation
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and other technologists
• Participate in department orientation and ongoing training
