Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings related to speech and language therapy
- Strong collaboration skills, able to work effectively alongside teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, creating individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintaining detailed documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students’ communication needs and educational goals
- Deliver direct therapy services in individual and group settings within the school
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to support student achievement
- Maintain detailed case notes and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities
