Ultrasonographer - Golden, CO

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1 years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a skilled ultrasound professional to provide essential diagnostic imaging services on a contract basis. The role involves performing a broad range of general and vascular ultrasound exams, supporting high-quality patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Schedule/Hours

• Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM, or 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Weekend on-call rotation: Weekend backup call required every 4th weekend
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in ultrasound, with proficiency in general and vascular procedures (excluding ABIs and segmental pressures)
• Current ARDMS certification required
• Active BLS (AHA) certification required
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality standards
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely results
• Operate ultrasound and related imaging equipment safely and effectively
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to optimize patient care and workflow
• Document findings and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with policies and procedures
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed, including weekend backup coverage
• Uphold infection control and patient privacy standards at all times
• Remain current with continuing education requirements and best practices in sonography
