Work on a dynamic 40-bed unit specializing in neuro and stepdown acuity, providing intermediate care and exposure to cardiac drips, advanced neurological cases, and complex patient populations. Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week contract
- 12-hour night shifts
What you’ll bring:
- Current RN license (OH or Compact)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience; neuro/stroke background preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (study guide support for Dysrhythmia exam available)
- Ability to work effectively in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
- Strong collaboration, communication, and adaptability skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team
- Implement and monitor individualized care plans
- Safely administer medications and therapies according to policies and state guidelines
