Step into a rewarding nursing role supporting students in an educational setting this summer. We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a school-based contract position, working closely with students and school staff to help maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
This contract runs from July 7th to August 7th, with a part-time schedule of 25 hours per week. Workdays run Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, allowing for afternoons free and a great balance between your professional and personal commitments.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Active RN license in Rhode Island
- Previous experience as a school nurse or in pediatric healthcare settings preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Proficient in managing student health concerns, first aid, and medication administration
- Organized, adaptable, and able to respond to emergencies calmly and efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to students as needed during school hours
