Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- 13-week assignment
- Valid RN license (Ohio or compact)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (study guide for dysrhythmia exam available)
- Minimum 1 year RN experience; neuro/stroke and acute care experience highly preferred
- EPIC EHR familiarity preferred
- Previous work with ratios of 1:4 days and 1:5 nights, preferred
- Assess and prioritize patient needs in an intermediate care neuro/stroke setting
- Administer medications and manage cardiac drips
- Clinically manage patients with multi-system organ failure and trauma
- Serve as a liaison for patients, families, and care teams, advocating for optimal outcomes
- Implement evidence-based nursing practice; adapt to changing patient conditions confidently
- Support and educate peers, participate in quality improvement initiatives
