Key Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or appropriate state credentials
- Minimum of one year cath lab experience preferred
- Proficiency with cardiac catheterization procedures and related imaging equipment
- Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment during cardiac and vascular procedures
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab
- Monitor patient condition and respond promptly to clinical needs
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all imaging documentation is complete and compliant
- Safeguard infection control and equipment sterilization protocols
- Participate in emergency response as needed within the cath lab setting
- Support patient education and comfort before, during, and after procedures
