Staff Pharmacist | Brockton, Massachusetts

A healthcare facility recently transitioned to a new pharmacy management system and requires skilled pharmacists to help stabilize and catch up on workflow. This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to a long-term care and intellectual developmental disabilities pharmacy environment, supporting critical data review and verification processes.

Location: Brockton, MA

Contract Duration: Approximately 4 to 6 weeks, starting ASAP

Schedule

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM 8:00 PM (flexible shifts including opening and closing)
• Saturday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM (weekend support appreciated)
  
  

Responsibilities

• Review and clear data entry to ensure accurate prescription processing
• Conduct thorough checks and verifications of prescriptions and related information
• Adapt quickly to newly implemented pharmacy software system
• Assist in accelerating the workflow to manage the current volume backlog efficiently
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to maintain quality standards in a fast-paced setting
  
  

Desired Experience

• Licensed Pharmacist with an active Massachusetts license
• Prior experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred, but retail pharmacy experience will be considered
• Familiarity with pharmacy data entry and verification processes
• Ability to work flexible hours and support weekend shifts as needed
• Confidence in adapting to new pharmacy systems and workflows
  
  

This is a high-priority assignment with an urgent need for qualified candidates. A quick interview process is expected, and selected pharmacists should be prepared to begin work on site within 3 to 4 days of receiving an offer.
