Speech Pathology - San Mateo, CA

An exceptional opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP, SLP-CCC) to support students across various educational levels within a contract position located in San Mateo, CA. This role involves delivering high-quality speech and language services to students in elementary, middle, high school, and postsecondary settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy to students tailored to their individual educational needs.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district policies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to support student success.
• Adhere to scheduled hours and ensure continuity of care throughout the contract period.
  
  

Schedule Overview

• Elementary & Middle School: June 10 July 7, 8:00 AM 12:30 PM (4.5 hours/day plus 15-minute grace before and after)
• High School: June 15 July 10, 8:30 AM 3:00 PM (6.5 hours/day plus 30-minute unpaid lunch and 15-minute grace)
• Postsecondary: June 16 July 13, 8:30 AM 3:00 PM (6.5 hours/day plus 30-minute unpaid lunch and 15-minute grace)
• Holidays observed with no sessions on June 19 and July 4
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Valid SLP certification, including Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Experience working with diverse student populations in school environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and adapt to scheduling needs.
