Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - San Mateo, CA

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized therapeutic services within a school setting located in San Mateo, CA. This role is designed for professionals holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and experience working with school-aged children.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language evaluations and therapy services tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with educators and other school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
• Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as required

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification/license appropriate for school settings
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience working in educational environments preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively
