Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - San Mateo, CA

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide Pre-K intake assessments at an elementary school in San Mateo, CA. This contract role extends through June 3, 2026, and requires on-site presence. The candidate will support young learners through comprehensive speech and language evaluations as part of early intervention services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Pre-K speech and language intake assessments
• Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication needs
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district guidelines
• Participate in relevant meetings and planning sessions related to student services
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license from the California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA)
• Clear or professional Speech Services Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) preferred but not required
• Experience working as a school-based SLP, specifically with Pre-K populations
• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or bilingual abilities preferred
• Candidates holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology are desired
• Candidates currently completing Clinical Fellowship (CF) are not eligible
