Key Responsibilities Include
- Assisting speech-language pathologists in delivering effective therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Conducting treatment sessions according to individualized education plans (IEPs) and documenting student progress.
- Traveling between assigned schools within the Jurupa Valley and Alvord districts to provide direct support.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to enhance student communication outcomes.
- Maintaining compliance with all district policies, state guidelines, and ethical standards related to speech-language pathology services.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) credential or certification.
- Experience working in school and healthcare environments preferred.
