Speech & Language Pathology Assistant in Bel Air, MD

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position runs from September 2, 2026, through June 17, 2027, and entails working 37.5 hours per week on-site. You’ll help empower school-age learners as they develop essential communication skills, collaborating closely with educators and Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver high-quality interventions. Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Maryland Professional SLPA licensure (proof required at time of application)
• Completion of all required background checks, fingerprinting, and employment history review in compliance with House Bill 486
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates with relevant licensure are welcome to apply
• Flexibility to work across different school sites as assigned
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Support students with their speech and language development under the direction of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist
• Assist in administering therapy sessions, modifying materials, and tracking student progress
• Provide direct services and document data in accordance with district policies
