Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Maryland Professional SLPA licensure (proof required at time of application)
- Completion of all required background checks, fingerprinting, and employment history review in compliance with House Bill 486
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates with relevant licensure are welcome to apply
- Flexibility to work across different school sites as assigned
- Support students with their speech and language development under the direction of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist
- Assist in administering therapy sessions, modifying materials, and tracking student progress
- Provide direct services and document data in accordance with district policies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student goals
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all district and professional guidelines
