Speech Language Pathologist in Bel Air, MD

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives as a Contract Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) in the vibrant Baltimore area. This rewarding school-based position will allow you to engage with diverse learners, using your expertise to support their communication and language development throughout the 2026-2027 academic year.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy for students (specific age group and caseload details to be confirmed)
• Assess, diagnose, and write reports for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEPs and communication plans
• Document progress and maintain confidentiality of student records
• Participate in school meetings and professional development
• Travel between assigned schools as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
• Active Maryland Professional Licensure required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
• Ability to present images of all required licenses upon request
• Completion of House Bill 486 background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review as required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with school-aged children is a plus
