Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT licensure in Wyoming, or eligibility to obtain before the contract begins
- Experience in a school-based environment preferred
- Strong understanding of therapeutic practices appropriate for K-12 populations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- A passion for empowering students of all abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload
- Assess individual student needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s academic and functional success
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions in both individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate, timely records and contribute to ongoing student evaluations
- Educate students, staff, and families about OT strategies to promote growth and independence
- Attend and contribute to meetings and parent conferences as needed
