A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to cover a leave assignment in the Seattle, WA area. This in-person role offers flexible scheduling options: work one day per week supporting a caseload of nine preschool students, or up to four days per week serving approximately 36 students ranging from preschool through elementary age.

Key Qualifications Include

  • Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
  • Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate is mandatory
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology preferred
  • Experience working in a school setting with preschool and elementary-aged students

Responsibilities For This Role Entail

  • Conducting speech and language assessments and therapy sessions tailored to students individual needs
  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining clear documentation
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other education professionals
  • Ensuring all services comply with state regulations and district policies

This assignment is expected to start immediately and will continue through March 27, 2026. Candidates can choose a part-time schedule of one day weekly or a more full-time option of four days weekly.
