Speech-Language Pathologist in Seattle, WA

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a contracted position in a school setting located in Seattle, WA. This role involves delivering specialized speech and language therapy services to students, supporting their communication development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to speech therapy services.

Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Prior experience providing speech-language therapy in school settings.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders affecting school-aged children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
