Multiple experienced SLPs are needed to support diverse caseloads at both the elementary and secondary levels.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Washington State SLP license required
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification necessary
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Prior experience in school-based settings highly valued
- Solid understanding of effective assessment tools and therapy techniques for K-12 students
- Compassionate, collaborative, and dedicated to helping students reach their potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and provide therapy for a caseload of approximately 42 elementary or 45 secondary students, fostering improved communication and academic participation
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in alignment with IEP goals
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Engage with educators, families, and support staff to enhance student outcomes and promote inclusive practices
