- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs aligned with students unique learning, behavioral, and physical needs
- Adapt teaching materials and instructional approaches to accommodate individualized goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with applicable state and federal regulations
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Active Louisiana teaching license in Special Education
- Teacher of Students with Autism (TAT) certification required
- Experience working across K-12 grade levels preferred
- Strong understanding of special education laws, instructional best practices, and behavioral interventions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week
