This full-time Special Education teaching position offers an opportunity to support K-12 students with diverse learning needs in a dynamic school setting. The role involves developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), adapting curriculum, and providing tailored instructional strategies to promote student growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs aligned with students unique learning, behavioral, and physical needs
• Adapt teaching materials and instructional approaches to accommodate individualized goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation and comply with applicable state and federal regulations
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Active Louisiana teaching license in Special Education
• Teacher of Students with Autism (TAT) certification required
• Experience working across K-12 grade levels preferred
• Strong understanding of special education laws, instructional best practices, and behavioral interventions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  
  

Additional Information

• Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week
• Two openings available
• Position available ASAP through May 22, 2026
