Special Ed Teacher - Framingham, Massachusetts

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher with Moderate Disabilities certification is needed immediately for a contract position at a school in Framingham, MA. This role involves co-teaching a 2nd grade classroom alongside a general education teacher, supporting students with diverse learning needs until the last day of school on June 22.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the general education teacher to deliver inclusive instruction tailored to 2nd grade students with moderate disabilities
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adjust teaching methods to meet student needs
• Utilize reading intervention techniques to enhance student literacy development
• Monitor and document student progress, communicating effectively with staff and families
• Maintain a supportive and structured learning environment

Qualifications:

• Moderate Disabilities teaching certification is required
• Experience co-teaching in an elementary school setting preferred
• Training and experience in reading intervention strategies highly desirable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
