Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opening opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher in Cambridge, MA, supporting elementary-aged students with individualized learning needs. This contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through June 12, 2026, offering a structured workweek of 37.5 hours over 5 days. The caseload includes three elementary students, allowing for focused and personalized instructional attention.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with students needs.
• Collaborating with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress.
• Adapting instructional strategies to foster inclusion and promote academic and social growth.
• Monitoring and documenting student progress to meet regulatory standards.
• Providing a supportive learning environment that encourages student confidence and independence.

Qualifications or desired experience:

• Valid Special Education Pre-K 8 Certificate required.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting.
• Strong knowledge of individualized instruction and legal requirements related to special education.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a multidisciplinary team.
