Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, on-site Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year supporting students with severe disabilities and autism, ages 2 to 22, in a school setting located in Wyoming, DE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) for students
- Develop and implement Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) as needed
- Collaborate with the IEP team to set and monitor behavior goals
- Provide behavioral support and training to school staff and students
- Participate in crisis de-escalation and serve on the crisis intervention team
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to inform interventions
Qualifications:
- Active Delaware BCBA licensure/certification is required; please confirm licensure status with your application
- Experience working as a school-based BCBA, preferably with students on the severe autism spectrum
- Proven skill in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Strong background in conducting FBAs and developing BSPs
- Ability to work effectively onsite and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Reliable transportation to and from the assigned school location
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Onsite work only in Wyoming, Delaware
