School Behavior Specialist - Wilmington, DE

Located in Wilmington, DE, this contract opportunity seeks two Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support elementary students in general education classrooms. Candidates must hold an active RBT certification or provide proof of previous certification and have direct experience working in school settings with students exhibiting complex and aggressive behaviors.

Key Qualifications

• Active or previously held RBT certification (snapshot required upon presentation).
• Proven school-based experience supporting students with complex and aggressive behavioral needs.
• Comfort and willingness to provide life-skills assistance, including self-care, toileting, and bathroom duties (this is a mandatory requirement).
• Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM 4:15 PM EST) with punctual attendance; no part-time, late arrivals, or early departures will be considered.
• Flexibility to be reassigned within Wilmington, DE, as needed to meet the districts most pressing behavioral support demands.
  
  

Locations and Responsibilities:

• Position 1: Mote Elementary supporting 4th and 5th grade students implementing complex behavior support plans.
• Position 2: Richardson Park Elementary supporting 3rd grade students engaged in intensive ABA programming, behavioral support plan implementation, and crisis intervention as required.
  
  

Additional Role Details

• Immediate start, with assignments extending through June 12, 2026.
• Interview process conducted via Microsoft Teams (1530 minutes).
• Candidates must be prepared to complete fingerprinting clearance quickly, with associated costs covered upfront.
