Special Ed Teacher | Aurora, Colorado

This position seeks experienced Special Education Teachers with a focus on Early Childhood Special Education (0-8 endorsement) to work full-time within K-12 public schools in the Denver area. Assignments include co-teaching roles at elementary and P-8 school settings for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates must hold an active Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) certification and possess the appropriate endorsements for Early Childhood Special Education.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction and support in co-teaching classrooms tailored to early childhood students with special needs (ages 0-8).
• Collaborate with general education staff to foster inclusive learning environments.
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that meet state guidelines.
• Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments to teaching strategies.
• Engage with families and multidisciplinary teams to support student development.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Colorado DOE certification with Early Childhood Special Education (0-8) endorsement.
• Prior experience teaching special education in early childhood or elementary settings preferred.
• Ability to manage caseloads effectively and work cooperatively in team environments.

Location & Schedule:

• Positions are based on-site in Aurora and the greater Denver area.
• Full-time, 35 hours per week.
• Contract runs from ASAP through May 22, 2026.
• These roles require in-person attendance; remote or hybrid options are not available.
