Special Ed Teacher - Arvada, Colorado

A Special Education teaching opportunity is available at an elementary school in Arvada, CO, focused on providing resource support for students with autism. This contract position requires onsite work and offers a consistent schedule with class hours from 7:35 AM to 3:05 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction to elementary students with autism in a resource classroom setting.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies tailored to meet the needs of students with special education requirements.
• Collaborate with school staff to develop and adjust Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and communicate with parents and team members to support educational goals.
  
  

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working with elementary-aged students with autism.
• Proven skills in classroom management within an elementary special education environment.
• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license or Certificate of Online Licensing (COOL) for special education.
• Ability to work onsite full time (40 hours per week).
