Special Ed Teacher - Arvada, Colorado

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction as an Affective Needs Teacher within a center-based program at an elementary school.
• Serve as a Full-Time Learning Specialist at a K-8 school, tailoring educational approaches to support individual student learning.
• Provide targeted services as a Special Life Skills (SLS) teacher for students with autism at an elementary level.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and adapt instructional strategies to meet evolving needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with families and school staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Colorado DOE Special Education certification.
• Experience ranging from entry-level (0-2 years) to seasoned professionals with over 10 years in special education.
• Ability to manage caseloads effectively within diverse educational settings.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
