Key Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- State licensure to practice as an SLP in Michigan (or ability to obtain)
- Experience providing speech and language services in school settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for working with diverse student populations and supporting individualized needs
- Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic SLP services to K-5 students at two elementary buildings
- Collaborate with the full-time and part-time SLPs to address overflow caseloads
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and intervention plans
- Consult with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student success
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and meet compliance standards
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as needed
