Qualifications And Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (required)
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Louisiana
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is an asset
- Willingness to complete drug screening and fingerprinting as required by the district and agency
- Provide speech-language therapy, screenings, and evaluations to students in school-based settings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) addressing students’ unique communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school, district, and state guidance
- Adapt therapy strategies and materials to support diverse learners
