This full-time, onsite position runs from August to late May, closely following the school calendar and offering a structured Monday to Friday schedule of 35 hours per week. You will provide vital services within a dynamic educational setting, helping students access the resources they need to succeed academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous experience within a school-based setting is a plus
- Commitment to completing all credentialing steps, including drug screening and fingerprint clearance as mandated by the district
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services to students, supporting IEP goals and maximizing communication skills
- Conduct assessments and document progress for students ranging in age (exact caseload to be determined)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all district and state guidelines
- Engage in professional development opportunities as required
Contract Details:
- The contract runs August 7, 2026 – May 27, 2027, contingent upon school board renewal approval at the June 2026 meeting
