This role supports student academic success, behavioral development, and social-emotional wellbeing through assessment, consultation, and intervention services in collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. - Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral functioning
- Complete evaluation reports in compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and Tennessee state guidelines
- Participate in eligibility determination meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Provide data-driven recommendations for interventions and educational planning
- Support Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student needs
- Assist with functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide crisis response support and participate in school-based threat assessments as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services rendered
- Ensure ethical and professional practice consistent with NASP standards
