What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Psychologist position at Schoolforce Solutions Inc?
We are looking for a talented School Psychologist to join our team for the school year.
Hourly Rate Range: $55.00-$70.00 per hour
Responsibilities would include:
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' academic, cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
- Develop and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students' mental health, emotional well-being, and behavioral success.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective intervention strategies.
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, eligibility determinations, and crisis intervention as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) and IDEA requirements.
- Provide consultation and training to school staff regarding mental health, behavior management, and evidence-based interventions.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid Tennessee School Psychologist License issued by the Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE), or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to the start of employment.
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential preferred.
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
