Desired Qualifications:

  • Michigan School Psychologist Certification, or willingness to secure MI licensure prior to starting (travelers are welcome to apply with commitment to obtain licensure).
  • Demonstrated experience in a school-based setting preferred.
  • Strong abilities in psychological assessment, counseling, and intervention.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude to work effectively with students, staff, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify individual student needs.
  • Partner with educators to develop and monitor intervention plans.
  • Offer consultation and support to school personnel on student mental health.
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of school-wide mental health programs.
  • Engage directly with students, providing counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
  • Work across 1–2 assigned school buildings within a supportive district team.
