Key Qualifications And Skills
- Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience providing psychological assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention within K-12 settings
- Strong knowledge of IEPs, RTI/MTSS, and special education law
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and report-writing abilities
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, teachers, and administration
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving needs throughout the school year
- Previous contract, travel, or substitute experience is a plus
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for students
- Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide individual and group counseling services to support social-emotional learning
- Collaborate closely with school staff and families to address student challenges
- Deliver crisis intervention and prevention services as needed
- Offer consultative guidance to teachers on classroom interventions and accommodations
- Data collection, interpretation, and presentation for student progress monitoring
- Support successful implementation of RTI/MTSS and related initiatives
