Key Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut School Psychologist License required
- Background or experience in school-based psychological services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform assessments, collaborate with staff and families, and participate in IEP/504 meetings
- Flexibility to adapt to diverse student populations
- Comfort working onsite in a dynamic school setting for scheduled contract dates
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services including consultation and assessment
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions as needed
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to develop and monitor student plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records consistent with school policy
- Serve as a resource in areas such as behavior intervention, academic planning, and crisis response
Role Details:
- Ongoing assignments available:
- August 27, 2026 – March 2027
- October 20, 2026 – January 18, 2027 (West Bristol School)
- 35 hours per week
- Onsite presence required throughout assignment
