Two contract opportunities are available for dedicated school psychologists to work onsite, providing essential assessment, intervention, and consultation services. This 35-hour-per-week position allows you to contribute to school communities and make a real impact on student outcomes in a collaborative and professional environment.
What you’ll bring:
- Valid and active Connecticut School Psychologist License
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Strong assessment and report-writing skills
- Experience with behavioral intervention planning and counseling in school settings
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational abilities
What you’ll do:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to support special education eligibility and services
- Develop, implement, and monitor student intervention plans
- Deliver individual and group counseling to students when appropriate
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
- Consult with staff and parents to enhance students’ learning and emotional well-being
- Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
Assignments include coverage at West Bristol School from October 2026 to January 2027, as well as an August 2026 to March 2027 contract. Both roles offer the opportunity to work directly onsite within school communities.
