Key Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology required
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Strong understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI), IEP development, and special education services
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload of students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
- Organizational skills for maintaining accurate documentation and timely reporting
- Administer formal and informal assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional functioning
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and review IEPs, behavior intervention plans, and 504 plans
- Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support positive student outcomes and school climate
- Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to all federal, state, and district guidelines
- Offer guidance and professional development to staff on interventions, classroom strategies, and mental health support
