Support the academic and emotional development of K-5 students as a School Psychologist serving multiple elementary schools in the Chattanooga area. This full-time, onsite contract position runs from ASAP through May 21, 2026, offering a dynamic caseload focused on evaluations, ARDs, IEPs, and Behavior Plans within a committed educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess student needs.
  • Participate actively in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Create and monitor behavior intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student success.
  • Travel minimally between assigned schools within the district.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Valid Tennessee Department of Education certification in School Psychology.
  • Proven experience working with elementary-aged students (K-5).
  • Strong skills in evaluation, assessment, and behavior planning.
  • Ability to manage varied caseloads efficiently.
  • Commitment to on-site work; no hybrid or remote options.
  • Readiness for prompt interviews and hiring processes.

Location:

  • Chattanooga area, Tennessee, working within multiple elementary schools in the Hamilton County School District.

Schedule

  • Full-time (37.5 hours per week); part-time applicants will not be considered.
