Qualifications & Experience
- Active WA Occupational Therapist license (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Previous experience in school-based OT, pediatric settings, healthcare, or home health preferred
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to elementary-aged students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working alongside educators, families, and other professionals
- Familiarity with documentation systems and progress monitoring in educational environments
- Assess students’ needs and design interventions that target fine motor, sensory, and functional school participation
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate OT strategies into classroom routines
- Attend IEP meetings, contributing OT expertise and progress reports
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Provide in-service training and resources to school staff as needed
