Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess students occupational therapy needs within the school setting.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to students educational goals.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and educational staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy strategies accordingly.
- Provide support and consultation to school personnel regarding accommodations and adaptive techniques.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience working in K-12 school environments.
- Strong understanding of school-based therapy practices and individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families.
- Demonstrated skills in assessment, intervention planning, and implementation within a school context.
