This contract position spans from August 2026 through June 2027, offering the chance to work 2-3 days each week, with primary needs on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and one additional weekday. Your expertise will make a lasting difference, providing vital occupational therapy services across a diverse range of ages—from preschoolers up through young adults in an 18-22 transition program.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid OT license and certification appropriate for Connecticut school settings
• Demonstrated experience working as a school-based Occupational Therapist
• Strong ability to adapt therapy practices to a variety of developmental stages
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
• Commitment to supporting inclusion and positive student outcomes

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized occupational therapy interventions for students requiring support in motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
• Collaborate with special education teams and teachers to develop and implement IEP goals
• Support students in both classroom settings and specialized programs, fostering independence and skill development
• Document assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports in compliance with district and regulatory standards
• Contribute insights as an integral member of student support teams across multiple age groups
