Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Lorain, Ohio

Provide essential respiratory care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist performing fundamental competencies with confidence and minimal supervision. This contract opportunity in Lorain, OH offers a chance to apply your skills in mechanical ventilation, medicated aerosol delivery, airway clearance therapy, patient monitoring, and oxygen therapy, while participating in special procedures such as CPR, specialty gases administration, bronchoscopy, and patient transport.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy treatments including mechanical ventilation and medicated aerosol delivery.
• Conduct airway clearance and oxygen/humidity therapy effectively.
• Monitor patient respiratory status and respond to changes appropriately.
• Perform special procedures including CPR, bronchoscopy assistance, and transport support.
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies and protect patient health information following training and guidelines.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the department.
  
  

Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with an active Ohio license upon hire.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including frequent standing, walking, lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs, and other movement demands as necessary for patient care.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail with consistent eye/hand/foot coordination.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and abiding by organizational conduct codes.
